I Believe in Your Truth

At the dojo, we explore the parts of ourselves that are preventing us from living our best lives, and then offering alternative thought patterns and behaviors.

The truth doesn’t hurt; ignorance does.

The truth doesn’t hurt; ignorance does.

The truth occurs on multiple axis. There is what is true versus what is false, but then consideration needs to be given to ‘how much’ truthful information is helpful at a given moment. Truth is not merely a binary of true/false. The truth has dimensions.

One of the keys to living a life of truth and aligning your path, is to observe the right amount of truth, at the right time.

Thus, as a teacher, I try to serve as a mirror or lens for people to see ‘enough’, in order to inspire movement toward improvement.

First, do no harm.

Hippocrates

First, do no harm. People don’t need as much instruction as the teacher-ego would lead us to believe. Within each of us, is the very same spice that every discoverer, explorer, inventor, and creative possessed. The key is to tap into that power. What learners need, are opportunities to experiment and create. The best teachers facilitate enriching ways of interacting with ourselves and others.

Wrap that into a body-mind learning experience that will strengthen you to your very core, in the most efficient, respectful, and effective manner.

You may not know what you are doing, but given the opportunity, you will find that you have the sense to figure it out.

I believe in you.
